Forest Tree Dragon
In many wooded areas can be found the Forest Tree Dragon (Draco Saltus), ranging in size from the little Leaf Dragon to supreme Forest Monarch. However spotting them is no mean feat, but with little knowledge of the area can yield results. Many forest dragons have adapted to particular trees and vegetation, evolving certain traits such as tail spines, bony head growths and wing pattering that resemble the leaves of this or that tree. As well as scales that change colour with an almost symbiotic relationship to their surroundings.

Wind Silver Dragon
It would be fair to say that a true wonder to see in flight is the Wind Silver Dragon(Draco Argentum), although it wouldn't be that simple. For this species of dragon uses a camouflaging technique whilst in flight known as 'silvering'. The scales and feathers contain 'pearl essence', which is crystalline guanine. It enables the dragon to mimic its environment rendering it almost invisible to the eye. The most incredible use of the scales was in the making of the armour for King Zule of Cartna, which was said to render him invisible to his enemies at the Battle of the Four Kingdoms.

Desert Dragon
In the hot and arid land of Emeral lie the Delpimas deserts. Colossal expanses of sand runs for thousands of miles in any direction, it is of no surprise that little life can exist here. But thanks, in part, to the trade routes that crisscross this region, it is home to the aptly titled Desert Dragon (draco aurum). The trade caravans both fear and respect this inhabitant of the wastelands. He has the ability to hover and in doing so create sandstorms. The Desert Dragon also buries itself in sand and can lay in wait of quarry for up several days.
